Action lines
1.- Awareness-raising and training
Awareness-raising. The structure of this action involves dividing the management bodies between those having a direct impact on individuals and those who don't in order to deal specifically with the relevance of the gender dimension.
Actions
Training. This action is structured in classroom and remote training plans having variable duration and content, supported by follow-up and personalised consulting through the website set up for this purpose.

4.- Configuration of productive working groups
The aim is to create groups for thinking and carrying out productive work to facilitate process analysis so as to extract the most efficient and realistic procedures to make progress in the integration of the gender perspective in general policies.
Actions
-
Establishment of topic-specific or inter-disciplinary working groups, one made up of management staff whose actions have a direct bearing on people and another made up by management bodies whose actions have an indirect impact on individuals. After completing the basic training, each group will work on a specific project focused on their own needs.
-
Experimental group. The aim of this group is to establish a pilot experience using a specific, voluntary and available observation unit of the Administration for researching, analysing, preparing and implementing specific procedures for integrating the gender perspective in all stages and levels of its activity.

5.- Research
This line of work must respond to the general demand of information on women's and men's needs, as well as the progressive gathering of gender-desegregated data.
Actions
-
Dissemination of existing research on the social situation of men and women in Andalusia, produced or edited by the Andalusian Institute for Women, as well as those referenced by the regional Administration offices.
-
Promote, enhance or finance specific research on the different situation of men and women by request of some of the General Directions, provided it is strategic for Equal Opportunities in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

6.- Co-ordination
As seen in the diagnostic, one of the difficulties for integrating the gender dimension is the small degree of co-ordination existing amongst competent bodies. Accordingly, the Unit will set up the necessary conditions to establish bridges allowing for collective exchange and enrichment.
Actions
-
Development of the Equality and Gender Unit as a resource through which the Andalusian Institute for Women provides continuous or specific consulting for integrating Equal Opportunities for women in public policies.
-
Meetings for exchanging experiences in the different levels of the Administration.
-
Setting up commissions (or heads) in the different Administration Offices to ensure progress and transferability of the gender mainstreaming experiences in the Andalusian Administration.
